Little League Baseball Announcement

Several months ago, the Loveland Youth Baseball Organization (LYBO) Board of Directors announced that we had begun evaluating alternatives to Knothole League Baseball. This was undertaken based on continued feedback and frustration from our stakeholders (Coaches, Volunteers, Parents and Players.) After carefully considering alternatives, we’re pleased to announce the Board voted in October to affiliate with the National Little League® Baseball Program.

Major benefits will include playing all regular season games locally for 5-12 year olds, having a fixed game schedule, and providing improved facilities and infrastructure. Overall, there will be many changes beginning with the upcoming 2008 season. Most importantly, teams from last season will not be continued, primarily because the participant ages are changing for each League
